Havmeen Hearing Lab

Short answer: if you walk in and the parts are in stock, your repair is usually done the same day. If you mail your aid in, allow shipping time each way plus the repair itself, which is also same-day when parts are in stock once your aid reaches our lab.

Being without your hearing aid is hard, so we work fast and we tell you honestly when something will take longer. Here is how the timing really breaks down at Havmeen Hearing Lab in Richardson, TX.

Walk-In Repairs

Bring your aid to 1401 N Central Expy, Suite 100, Richardson, TX 75080 during our hours — Monday–Friday 9–5, Saturday–Sunday 11–2. When the parts your aid needs are in stock, we can often complete the repair the same day, and many customers drop off and pick up on the same visit day. Every repair is $275 per aid, with a 6-month warranty on the parts repaired. See our hearing aid repair page for what we fix.

Mail-In Repairs

Mail-in timing has three parts:

  1. Shipping to us — depends on where you live and the carrier you choose. Ship to Havmeen Hearing Lab, 1401 N Central Expy, Suite 100-116, Richardson, TX 75080.
  2. The repair — same-day when parts are in stock, once your aid is on our bench. Start with the repair form so we know it is coming and what is wrong.
  3. Return shipping — we send your aid back by express return shipping for $44.99, so the trip home is quick.

Full details are on our mail-in hearing aid repair page, with packing steps on our how to ship page.

When a Repair Takes Longer

Most repairs do not take long. The exception is when a part is not in stock and has to be hunted down — this happens most with older aids and less common models, and it can add days while we source the right part. If that happens with your aid, we will tell you: you will know what we are waiting for and the expected timing, and if any extra work or charge is ever involved, we call you for approval before proceeding. We would rather give you a true timeline than a fast promise we cannot keep.
